For all of you who are planning to attend the MEC conference at NYU on February 29 (you have registered, haven’t you? www.mbamec.com), MEA is hosting a pre-conference workshop with Tom Monaco, the Director of Career Services, on February 20.

eduard sole augustench, a new MEA member and gba student visiting from the ESADE business school, is also a musician and will be playing gigs on valentine’s day, february 14 and february 15 2008. his group is called ByE and here is how eduard describes his music.
“ByE, is a musical duet from Barcelona. They mix pop with other styles, like jazz, bossanova and rumba. Their lyrics are about feelings and thoughts that all of us have had one day or other… all performed by Bea’s voice and Eduard’s guitar. Raw music direct to your soul!”

The 2008 MBA Media and Entertainment Conference will be held on Friday, February 29th at NYU beginning at 8AM EST. Tickets are $55 each.
The MBA Media & Entertainment Conference brings together the nation’s top MBA students and media, entertainment and related companies. The purpose is to foster informative dialogue about, and enhance networking within, the film, music, broadcast and cable television, sports and publishing industries.
For those of you that did not attend last year, the MBA Media and Entertainment Conference is an extremely important event featuring major speakers from across the industry. In addition, a number of major MBA programs from across the United States hold a strong presence at the event so it is imperative that Fordham GBA has a substantial number of students in attendance.
